Upper Stone Wall

The upper stone wall was completed with larger stone pieces to create 
more sturdiness and visual variety.

Begin Stone Work

The upper corner of the stone wall was started.

Matters loves to lay in the leveled sand.

The stones were sorted by size.

The earth was tamped to create the base for the wall.

More Soil Removed

More soil was removed from around the tree so that the top stone wall would meet the edge of the tree.

 

Soil was removed behind the tree so the finish DG patio would meet the driveway.
 

The 8 yard dirt box was filled completely to the top.
 

Sprinklers by the lemon trees were placed and set on the timer.

 

Soil Excavation

Soil level lowered 6" below finish level so new soil can be added to the planting areas.

 

Almost 8 yards of soil was removed .
 

Installation of drip irrigation in front beds and timers set.
 
 

Brick Path to Gate

We completed the brick path to the gate and moved the sprinkler heads in next to the pathway.

 

The earth was leveled and tamped as a base for the DG patio areas.
 

Wall Height Determined

A level line was drawn from the front patio and stepped down 4" to determine the final height of the stone wall.

 

Shade bed lowered to below curve path.
 

The side path was relaid and made narrower.
